Usually wearing something with a hood, which is thus filled with a black void. Has a reverberating voice. He can dissolve into a huge gush of black smoke. He THICC. You wonder what that thang do. |
| 15 Second Summary |
Gabriel Reyes, an American super-soldier, served as the Black Ops leader of the UN-sanctioned superhero world police, Overwatch, for over 30 years. He was second only to his husband Commander Jack Morrison, and he was loved and respected as a world-famous hero and friend. After decades of golden age, Overwatch was plagued and tainted by years of drama, kidnappings, deaths, paranoia, and press exposing corruption and crime. Overwatch was finally disbanded when Reyes and Morrison were both killed in a mysterious explosion. By which I mean they're both still secretly alive, currently operating as masked mercenary leather daddies roving around doing illegal shit. Reaper is currently systematically eliminating targets in the name of spoopy vengeance. As I play him, Reaper is deep-cover in Talon, an organization with designs on world control. At his core, he never betrayed his family, but he has been driven to paranoia that his calm, calculating demeanor struggles to control. He experienced a psychotic break after his messy revival from death, and Talon's mental conditioning has not helped his stability. He has resided in Quiet Mounds for over ten years now, and struggles to settle somewhere between "The Reaper" and Gabe. |

Gabriel's body is mapped on the molecular level with nanomachines. He can evaporate his own body at will, to "teleport" short distances or otherwise become incorporeal. He can also "blueprint" objects to evaporate and recreate THOSE objects, such as his clothes and his shotguns. He can duplicate whatever he has blueprinted as much as he likes, including his own limbs. He can ALSO cannibalize other people's vitality/life energy by damaging them or otherwise exhausting them (eyebrow waggle). |

Magic-wise, there is something SLIGHTLY magical about Reaper, but it's difficult to isolate. He has most definitely been fucking dead before, and he's not dead NOW, but he is tainted by death. Power-wise, he is more powerful than a normal human (think captain america), but most of his abilities are science-based. For psychics, Reyes' mind looks like it's been shattered and then meticulously put back together by a fucking expert mastermind in compartmentalization. There's, you know, repeated earthquake damage from every time he has a psychotic breakdown, but he's doing his best here. |
